Beberapa waktu yang lalu, kita mendapatkan kabar bahwa movie One Piece Gold bakalan tayang di Indonesia. Sayangnya, berita baik ini diikuti oleh berita kabar buruk. Meski dinyatakan “lulus sensor” oleh LSF (Lembaga Sensor Film), penayangan One Piece Gold di Indonesia akan diberi rating dewasa. *Glek!
Kebijakan pihak LSF sendiri untuk memberi rating dewasa kepada movie One Piece Gold dikarenakan berbagai faktor. Salah satu yang faktor utama, yang pastinya sudah banyak yang tahu, adalah karena pakaian-pakaian karakter dalam One Piece Gold yang sangat minim—terutama karakter perempuan. Dalam desain karakter Luffy dkk, bahkan diperlihatkan bahwa Nami dan Robin mengenakan pakaian renang yang minim.
One Piece Gold akan disutradarai oleh Hiroaki Miyamoto (One Piece episode 352-679, asisten sutradara One Piece: Baron Omatsuri dan the Secret Island) sementara script akan ditangani oleh Tsutomu Kuroiwa (live-action Black Butler, live-action Liar Game: The Final Stage, live-action The Perfect Insider).
Movie One Piece selalu dirilis setiap tahunnya di Jepang mulai tahun 2000 hingga 2009. Semenjak itu, selain One Piece Z (yang rilis pada Desember 2012) dan film 30 menit One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase pada tahun 2011, Fuji TV telah menayangkan berbagai episode spesial seperti One Piece Episode of Luffy: Hand Island of Boken, One Piece Episode of Nami: Kokaishi no Namida to Nakama no Kizuna, One Piece Episode of Merry: Mo Hitori no Nakama Monogatari, One Piece “3D2Y” Ace no Shi wo Koete! Luffy Nakama no Chikai, dan One Piece Episode of Sabo. Episode spesial One Piece ~Adventure of Nevlandia~ tayang pada bulan Desember kemarin.
